Every major update to the Bikini Horrors FNF mod, from the original V1 release through the current V3 "Fiesta en la Piscina" — what changed, what was added, and how the mod evolved.
The biggest update yet, expanding the mod past 40 tracks and shifting the setting from horror-house to pool party. Here's what changed.
V3 adds six new tracks to the rotation, all tied to the pool party arc:
V3 introduces fresh faces alongside reworked versions of fan-favorites:
The pool party stage replaces cramped horror-house backgrounds. Visuals are brighter, more detailed, and lean into underwater parody theme. Character sprites updated to match new aesthetic. Older stages tweaked to fit expanded scope.
Full story expansion with pirate subplot woven through new songs. Hallucination sequences mess with visuals mid-track. Dialogue scenes connect new content back to V1 and V2. More connective tissue than before.
General stability improvements across all versions. Performance optimizations for longer tracks. Fixed audio sync issues in several V1/V2 songs. Improved compatibility with different FNF engine versions.
Built out the roster introduced in V1 with additional parody tracks and refined the existing horror-house stages.
V2 expanded the tracklist beyond the original six songs, adding more parody tracks that built on the horror-house aesthetic. These tracks bridged the gap between V1's contained scope and V3's sprawling pool party arc.
Additional opponents and supporting characters were introduced, expanding the cast beyond the core V1 lineup. These characters filled out the horror-house setting and provided more variety in rhythm battles.
Existing horror-house stages were refined and expanded. Visual details were added, backgrounds were made more dynamic, and the overall presentation was polished to match the growing scope of the mod.
The mod that started it all — introduced Spongephanes and the core cast in a smaller, horror-house setting.
The tracks that introduced the mod's overall tone:
The original cast that established the mod's identity:
Established the central rivalry between Spongephanes and SpongeWarrior. Set in a horror-house environment with a contained, focused narrative. Introduced the mod's signature blend of horror and parody, Spanish-language naming conventions, and crossover references to other FNF mods.
