Overview
For You, Someday is the final track in the V3 tracklist and one of the most story-heavy songs in the whole Bikini Horrors OST. Its runtime is still pending confirmation, but its placement isn't in doubt: it closes V3 the way Bubbletwister closed V1 — with a ballad-leaning, emotionally loaded song built around Bob el Triste.
The track is documented as a story ballad and as a tribute to An Ode To A Friend, and it has a rare dual credit: Willart-Mei composed it while Ug32t! wrote the lyrics. That matters because For You, Someday is one of the few confirmed tracks with an explicit lyrics credit at all — and the only one in V3.
The reveal
Everything about For You, Someday builds to a single narrative reveal: Spongelord Xquarepants is the one who sent Bob el Triste to Underguater Limbo. The phrase "sent him there" is doing a lot of work — in the V1 arc, Bubbletwister told players Bob had made a deal to enter Underguater Limbo in pursuit of a lost love. V3's closer reveals the other side of that bargain: it wasn't purely Bob's choice, and Spongelord, the powerful figure behind the mod's deals, was the one pulling the strings.
That reframes Bubbletwister retroactively. The wiki tracks the thread directly: "His past deal with Bob el Triste pays off in For You, Someday." The two songs bookend the entire confirmed soundtrack — V1 ends by planting the deal; V3 ends by resolving it. For returning players, For You, Someday is the payoff they waited an entire version for.
Bob, Subaru, and the reunion
On the character side, the song completes Bob el Triste's arc. He reunites with Subaru from Underguater Limbo — the character entry describes Bob as the "playable star" of the track. Where Bubbletwister left Bob defined by grief and searching, For You, Someday lets him reach the reunion that motivated him in the first place.
Spongelord's presence in the song's narrative is equally structural: it doesn't appear as a fight, but as the source of the deal. It's a reminder that the mod's antagonist network runs deeper than the characters who physically challenge the player.
The no-icons choice
For You, Someday is uniquely presented among the confirmed tracks: no character icons are used. In a Friday Night Funkin' mod where almost every song has a character at the bottom of the screen, this track deliberately plays without one. The effect is hard to separate from the song's meaning — a ballad that resolves a grief storyline doesn't need a bouncing character to sell it, and dropping the icons lets the music and story carry the moment alone.
It's the clearest sign of how far V3 was willing to push the format. The same tracklist contains the Gacha-style cold open of Barnacles! and the tempo-warped hallucination of PARACETAMOL; For You, Someday closes it by removing a layer entirely and trusting the song itself.
